i pinched off all the small fruit, and the tips of all the growing vines in

this yesterday, so i don't know how well it's going to work out. should i
apply some fertilizer high in potash? anybody out there with ideas?

Scott & The Carlsons,
Unfortunately , at the end of the season, if the pumpkin has been on the
vine for 60 or 70 days, growth has slowed to a near stop, I think there is
probably little you can do to drastically alter the growth. If your old war
horses were Boeing 747s, the flaps are out full, the engines are cut back to
one quarter throttle......you are making your final approach..........happy
landing......it's that time of year. I know of nothing that will jump start a
big beauty that has run its natural course.
