Hey, my pumpkins are starting to attract attention from people. The patch is
hidden into a wooded area and away from streets, but the few people that pass
through (one guy comes and dumps hundreds of pounds of grass clippings there
from a lawn mowing company every couple days), are starting to ask a bunch of
questions on what the h*ll I was doing to it to make it get so big, etc.! It's
pretty cool. Heh heh!
And the biggest is only 88 inches in circ., what will they say if it gets to
be 400 pounds? 700? 1200? (HEY, I CAN DREAM)! Now I am also wondering what
would happen if vandals spotted it....so here is another subject for
everyone....!
Has anyone had problems with patch security and vandalism? And what measures
do you take to protect against it?! Up to this point, the only vandals I had
to worry about were furry and walked on four legs!>>

I had to put up an Electric Fence to keep vandels from sneaking in during the
night, it seemed to work. If they really want to get at it there is not much
you can do.
