Steve and Glenn,
Just an observation from this year's windscreening/line of sight
plantings.
I've always planted corn around the patch and decided this year to try
sunflowers around the "Big Max" plantings. Once the seeds matured and the
finches went to work, the mice were right there too. Before I knew it,
they had nibbled on every one of the pumpkins in that patch. #$%!**%$!!!
The AGs planted about 30 yds away surrounded with corn weren't touched. I
don't think I'm going to try sunflowers again.
