Well, I think I'll join the party.Just found a stem tear on my back-up 300
lber with a little area of "soft stuff".Cut off the vine past the pumpkin to
relieve the stress and scraped off some goo.I guess I'll look at it tomorrow
,clean it up again and start the fan..........Should I fungicide before
drying
it out or after?

Hello. I treat all my soft spots with bleach and water. Scrub the area to
remove the surface layer then apply the solution. Within 24 hours the area
will be dry and hard. It works for me.
