Noooooooo! First of all, DON'T BOIL IT! Yuck.
All you do it cut the pumpkin in halves, (well, for a regular sized pie
pumpkin. Large ones will need to be cut in sections). Then place it on a
slightly greased non-stick baking sheet, cut side down, skin side up, and bake
at 350 or so for about an hour.
Some say to remove the strings and seeds first, some say not to. Either way,
you just scoop the flesh out of the pumpkin shell when it is done, and put
into a blender or food processor and puree it. This method of baking keeps the
full flavor of the pumpkin!
