 Well, on our LOCAL news here in Toledo (ABC affilliate), there was a national
 story about a guy from ME who had an 800 pound pumpkin. WHO IS THIS GUY? Is
he
 on the list?
 I have no idea why they are making this the big story it is, since I know
 there are heavier pumpkins that that, but does anyone here know who it is? I
 forgot his name, I have to watch the tape again. Check your local ABC
 affilliates for this story, since I think it is distributed to all of them
 today.
 Also, this is supposedly the FIRST TIME the guy has grown a pumpkin.
 Anyway let me know if anyone else sees the story! >>

I don't think ME has had an 800+ Pumpkin yet so that may be why it was picked
up.  Topsfield also promotes New England Pumpkin stories for Fair
advertisement because they are our prize money sponsor.  There are quite a few
NEPGA members in ME, not sure who it might be.
