Are you growing in a back yard or on a farm? Is this your first year, or
are you a pumpkin veteran? Is the temperature in San Jose over 70 degrees?
Do you have cucumber beetles? Do you put 4 to 6 hours a day in the patch?
Do your neighbors lean over the fence and laugh at you? Do you have
 anything over 300 lbs?

Well, let's take 'em in order.
1) I am growing in my backyard. It is 17 feet wide for the most part. Gets
full sun about 4 hours a day.
2) This is my second year of serious effort. I did a little initial dabbling
three years ago before I found this group
3) It has been over seventy degree for the last two weeks.
4) No bugs of any kind.
5) My neighbors are simple computer folk who don't know from Burpee's. Easily
impressed.
6) I have one over 300 and another close. But we are in fungus rot season. So
in 28 more days, who knows?

Come on- Its for the honor of San Rafael!
And maybe not.
