Northern Mn. update
Finally the rain has subsided. Got 5.5 inches this past week, and temps in
lower 40's. Both growing areas are covered and fruit are in their hothouses.
Did OTT measurements yesterday and the moisture is definately slowing down
the growth spurts. My 563 Geerts put on only 98 pounds this week(down from
140 week prior), and 690Sproule put on 55 pounds(down from95 week prior).
563 got hit with fungal growth on leaves from the cool/moist nights lately,
but shouldn't slow things down much. Happy Growing! Pumpkinpiper
