Womper numbers
Womper was weighed today at Farabaugh Farms in Carrolltown, Pa. on a
certified scale. Final measurements done on the pallet were 174 115 103
or 372 OTT, est 1142. Actual weight was 1190. We also weighed all of the
pieces after cutting it up and came up with 1216. Wall thickness was
7" to 8" overall and about 10" at the stem area.
Found 3 more small holes on the bottom at a stem end Dill ring. Only
harvested about 30 mature seeds, found very few immature seeds also, am
very puzzled about this.
To add insult to injury I discovered tonight that the 200 or so seeds
that I harvested a weeek ago from a 700+ pumpkin were all stolen today
by chipmunks, (while our cat slept in the house). Think I'll go have a
cold beer now.
