Can anyone tell me where I might find a site that has the official rules
for weighoffs run by the GPC? I talked to the coordinator of the weighoff
in Neekoosa, WI and was given very vague rules of no holes, soft spots, or
 splits.
I currently have one in the patch at 370#'s (estimated) that I have been
trying to keep from rotting on the stem. Today I noticed that the area
around the stem looks like it is starting to crack. It does not appear to
go into the pumpkin cavity, but would this be enough to disqualify me from
 a weigh off?
One last question. Is stem rot an inherent trait in some pumpkins? This
is my second pumpkin over 300# on a 739 Welty that has had rotting on the
stem. Just curious if it's the pumpkin or something that I am doing wrong.

To be disqualified at a GPC site the hole must go into the seed cavity.
