Connie....... I would gradually start dead ending all vine growth at this
stage of the game. Most growers try and have there plants dead ended by
the first of Sept .........I say gradual because if you do anything that
sends a bunch of juice to the pumpkin you run the risk of cracking,,,,,so
perhaps go 1/4 of the plant at a time....,,.good luck MB
