Re: Giant Pumpkin to move

Hi Linda, welcome aboard! well, you could use a regular tarp, like one of
those blue ones they have at construction sites..........it's going to be a
little cumbersome because they don't have handles, but it will work, just
get alot of people! good luck!

Hi, just found your site and it's just great. We are ready to enter our
Pumpkin in Carp Fair in Canada, near Ottawa and unfortunately did not have
it on a pallette. We need to move it and tractors are no problem - we have
friends offering to help - but is there any other way to get it lifted up.
The tarps are great but it needs to be done for this Wednesday. We will
have a pallette too. Last measurement a few days ago had the pumpkin
weighing about 468 lbs. so it's not the biggest but it still... it's
heavy.
Any ideas you may have heard about as to how to get it lifted up? Thanks -
Linda
