Greenhouse shrubs and climbers
Sea Grape
Germination Temp 70-75F
Germ Time 10-21 days
Sow anytime of the year after soaking the seeds for 24 hours in lukewarm
water. Sow 1/4 in (6mm) deep in a peat/sand mix seed compost. Keep the
compost moist but never over wet. When the seedlings are large enough
to handle, transplant them into 3 in posts of a similar potting compost
and pot up as required preferably in spring. They particularly need
free drainage expecilly when in large pots or tubs. When they have
filled their final container with roots, give occasional applications of
liquid fertiliser. Grow in sun or light shade, with a moderately humid
atmoshere and a temperature from spring to autumn of 65-75F; autumn to
spring 55-60F
