More greetings from Sweden!
In my experience and I admit that it is none too great with Pelargonium
cultivars, most are Summergrowers....or....are taylored to be grown all the
year around. However if you like, you can let your plant rest in Winter, it
prefers a cool bright spot, and depending on temps you can reduce the
watering or almost stop it altogether. Some people "just" put the plants in
their pots and all in their cellars. And then some hang them barerooted on
a clothesline in their cellar....and report success, and then some like you
grow them all the year around.
BUT..there is a great difference between Pelargonium species and
Pelargonium cultivars......and then there are more differences :-) so, I'd
like to emphasis that my earlier postings dealt with Pelargonium species
and should not be used when growing the cultivars!
Good Luck!
Ingrid
