Mailing list ABUSE


If you feel Greg Knox was out of line and would like to complain about
his process
to unsubscribe from a mailing list, please read the following and submit
a complaint
to his ISP. 

EROL ABUSE Staff, please review the following URL and notice the process
which
Mr. Knox used to unsubscibe.  As the list owner, I feel he did not
follow your agreement and request appropriate action.

to preform my duties would of prevented the overload of our mailing
list.

6. EROL'S COMPLAINT RESPONSE PROCEDURES.

Erol's dedication to customer service means that Erol's takes seriously
and responds to all complaints about its subscribers' use of the
Internet. This means complaints by both Erol's subscribers and
complaints by other Internet users. Erol's believes that its customers
should be able to enjoy full use of the Internet without interference by
persons who use the Internet in an improper or unlawful manner. 

Erol's will respond to any complaint that involves online activities
that are Prohibited Activities under the Erol's Online Policies. 

Erol's will follow the Complaint Response Procedures described below to
respond to complaints from subscribers and others about Erol's
subscribers. Under these procedures, Internet users -- including Erol's
subscribers -- are responsible for monitoring use of the Internet by
others. Erol's will issue warnings to its subscribers, suspend
subscribers' accounts and even cancel accounts when it learns of
continuing improper activities.

Customer Service Department at 1-800-EROLS-PC.

   How to Submit a Complaint:

1. Form of Complaint 

Complaints may be submitted in any form: by e-mail (abuse@erols.com),
fax, or mail. 

2. What Information Should be Submitted 

If you register a complaint with Erol's Customer Service department, you
should submit the following information:

 The online i.d. of the Erol's subscriber involved, and if possible, any
other information about the subscriber, such as 

his or her name and address; 
A detailed description of the activities involved; 
If possible, the specific category or categories of Prohibited Activity
you believe is involved in the activities; 
The dates the activities took place, e.g., the date information was
posted.
