They are similar in purpose.  Rockwool is made from superheated rocks that
are spun into fibres (sounds weird but its true) so it is quite similar to
fibreglass insulation.  Oasis cubes are made from a foam like florists
foam.  They can be used interchangeably but many people perfer rockwool.
