In reply to the thread about the uses of rockwool:
In the Neatherlands, where floriculture is a THRIVING business, rockwool
is used extensively. Unfortunatly, it is not biodegradeable. I've
heard that rockwool can be found EVERYWHERE in the country due its
difficulty of disposal.
