Dear Sheryl:
    Go to the feed processing plants that are probably called elevators
in your area  for your grit.  The garden centers and nurseries here
don't carry as well as most places that sell to home gardeners.  Go to
the place where farmers buy supplies by the truckload.
    Once you find your grit then you'll discover there are five sizes of
grit for various sized bird gizzards.  I'm using chick grit but Loren
Russell uses the larger size.  My large sack cost $2.95.  Buy one a
couple of sizes and decide what suits you best.
