Hi Denise -
I found a seed that had begun to germinate inside a grapefruit - it had a
short radicle showing. I planted it in a small pot in seed sowing medium,
moistened it well and enclosed it in a plastic bag. I set it in a warm
place - no special lighting. In a little over a week it sent a nice sprout
up, so I placed it in a sunny window. That was two years ago this month.
It has spent summers outside on the porch in a sunny spot. In winter I
placed it on a bench in my greenhouse. It is now about 2 ft. tall- a
handsome healthy looking plant. Now, this seed had not dried out at all to
begin with. I don't know if that matters. Just try planting your seeds
and see what happens ! Good luck.
Sonnie
