Re: Wild Cucumber Vine

I've grown wild cucumbers for years with no effort. Once established I just
let whatever seeds fall to the ground in the fall before or during removal
of the old vines (do it early or you'll have millions of babies!) stay where
they land and, it appears, they all germinate in spring and need extensive
thinning. They don't seem to like transplanting unless done *very* early.
So I wouldn't worry about frost, in fact they may need it but as I've never
tried any other method I don't know for sure.

Good luck,
Bruce
