Sheryl,
This plant has been'patented'by the Brits..They recoginized early on the
value of their discovery(whichI believe is native to Austrailia).and hence
the patent..Seems the whole world is determined to patent everything
possible.Did you know for example that India's Neem tree has been patented
now?Not by India either..Dirty pool in my opinion..If you hybrize a plant
thats one thing, but to take an indigenous plant found as Mother Nature
created it and make no changes to it,it used to be that it was referred to
as "Public/Open Domain"but now if there is any wiggle room they will slap a
patent on it,as they recognize the monetary gains to be had....So here we
are unable to obtain seed as a consquence, even plants are in short supply. If
you still have your plant, hang on to it and try different methods on
cuttings.Perhaps they needed better drainage,etc.?
You are the Sheryl that moved from Cal.to Colo.?right?Good to see you again.
Connie Of Desert Idaho.Where is seems we will never achieve Spring, it was
16deg here this Morn.
