Title: Re: Contorted Copper Plant
IF this is the annual known as copper plant here in TX, woody
stems would do better in a soilless mix (a combination of peat,
perlite and or vermiculite works for me) rather than water. Fleshy
stems would sprout roots pretty well in water, though, I've found,
kind of like coleus.

I have been admiring this plant and was given 3 cuttings yesterday.
The stems are pretty woody and am wondering what is the best way to root
them? Should I leave them in water or should I put them directly in potting
soil or sand or ______?
Thank You and Best Wishes, Barbara
