Greetings All,
Has anyone experience with germinating seed of Cautleya? The hardy ginger
from the Himalayas. I have a small potted specimen of C. lutea (C.
gracilis ?) that is developing several fruit and have no idea what the seed
looks like nor how to handle it. I have only the one plant, so do not at
this point know if the seed is viable. So far I have found no references
to germination protocols. Is there one or two large seed or numerous
small seed? Will the seed tolerate storage?
Thanks for any assistance.
Scott
