Thanks Margaret for filling in some of the areas I failed to mention...Your
mention of the OP being taken over by the seed com.is something that I have
troubled over for sometime..I hear if its not officially registered in the
Public Domain(recall you have to register them, refresh my memory if not)they
snap 'em up,change the name and claim them as their own. This is a crime they
wouldnt tolerate if they were on the recieving end..
Margaret you are a very knowledgeable computer user..Could you track down some
other links that deal with this in an as objective manner as possible..I have
found several but when others read them they complain of propaganda like
reporting.I'm hard pressed to provide that request ..So hoping you might have
better luck.
The other found link is:<http:www.rafi.ca/>I sent this to the per.list and the
responder found it too biased.
I suppose its not realistic to expect all to be as concerned about this, as
certainly some are .However to be indifferent only because you think that it
wont affect your interests is rather irresponsible (my opinion of course)not to
mention selfish. Now that I've possibly offended countless listers I'll retreat
but ask you to read, think, decide for yourself.Bias reporting ?depends on which
side of the fence your on of course..You'd be wrong if you thought me a radical
who just doesnt like the Mega seed companies making a profit, they have benefited
the world immeasurably but this technology raises many concerns and merits
vigilence to say the least.
