J.L. Hudson puts out a quite remarkable catalog of seeds, many of which
I have not seen offered elsewhere. It is interesting that he has for
some years carried a torch in articles in his catalog against the Exotic
Pest Plant Councils such as the one in California which seek to dictate
what plants can be imported and transported within the US. Hudson claims
the USDA is involved in passage of a "clean list" law which would
require a few millions of dollars in testing before a new species could
be imported!
