Day Lily Seed

I was not successful when I harvested the green seed pods; the seeds 
shriveled up. In my experience it is better to leave them on the 
stalk. Tie a piece of nylon stocking around the pods to protect them 
and collect the seeds if the pods open earlier than expected.
