Copper Plant, Any info?

I bought a thing labeled as "Copper Plant" and can find nothing else
about it. After 4 months, my 6 inch purchase is nearly 20 inches high,
almost like a small woody shrub. I can tell it had been propagated from
about a 3 inch stem cutting. I would like to do the same. Its leaf is
nothing like a willow so I presume I will need some rooting compound.
I also need to know what zones it's hardy in, and whether it prefers
sun, shade or both. I have it in half shade at the top of a dryish clay
slope. I think it's doing well.
The leaves are splotched with a pleasant orangish color... almost
copper.
How tall will it get? Soil preference? Although its under a red gum
[maple], it hasn't been choked out like so many other things I plant
there. It competes well for water i guess.
I recommend it for its color alone since I like variety

Still hot. We are still having 95 degree days, a blessed break from 4
weeks of hunderd degree temps. In persistent bloom, I have Moss Rose,
Rose, Purslane, veronica, Verbena Tapien (loves heat), Thunbergia vine,
Dolichos labalb (Hyacinth bean vine), some Hosta Lilies, lots of
sunflowers, Zinnias gazoo, and the Moon flower and cardinal flowers just
started. Nice to come back on the list and enjoy your company. I have
been watering 3 times a day and had no email time. I've been trying not
to get the summer version of cabin fever, my 44 y.o. ticker really
dislikes heat (depressing).
