Re:mites

this is just a shot in the dark, but at least it is harmless.   get a large chunk of dry ice (compressed solid carbon dioxide gas), close all the windows tight and the fans off, shove it in the door, and close it quick.  of course it depends on how large your greenhouse is how much co2 you will need, but what is wrong with shooting at mites in the dark?
you can get dry ice at ice cream parlors, welding suppliers . . . my supermarket kept it for a time.  but do put on very thick gloves if you are going to handle the stuff.  let me know what success you have

Having a problem with mites in one of my greenhouse plants.  I have tried just about everything I can think of to rid this plant of these nasty little pests without success.  Miticides, soaps and vigorous waterings have not helped.  I want to be able to bring in some of my tropicals before the weather gets cold and want to avoid infesting them.  Anyone have a solution or specific treatment that has worked for them.  I would appreciate any advice someone may have.
Thanks,
Ruby Tuesday
