If you live in the United States you might contact your County Extension
Agent, Usually located in the courthouse, and they usually have very
inexpensive, yet comprehensive, publications available. If they can't
help you, ask if they can help you locate the nearest Master Gardeners
in your area. They usually have a great deal of information available
as well.
