Irishmans' cuttings-

Plant them in a small pot, feed them, water them in. Keep watering
when necessary - feed every two weeks or so, and within 4-6 weeks, you
have a new plant, ready to put into the garden or into a larger pot.
Feed again when you transplant - success.

heel cuttings -
if you pull a secondary or tertiary branch (almost always from this
year's growth) off of a main branch, you will see that a small piece of
the main branch remains on the cutting that you have pulled . It sort
of looks like a heel - and even if it doesn't, it's called a heel.
The Auxins inherent in the plants cellular structure just know how to
differentiate themselves into rooting structures, and proceed to root in
the propoer environment.
