All,
Can anyone give me some insight on growing Jacarandas from seed? I
have tried several times and didn't get any to sprout. First, I collected
seed from a tree in San Diego while there on vacation and tried to sprout
in a jiffy pot on the highest shelf on my light stand. None germinated.
Second, I bought some seeds from a reputable seed company using the same
method, still none germinated. Is there a trick to getting them to germinate?
Do they need cold treatment? Help! I really would like to grow one as a tub
tree.
