Re: Q:Where is list?

8 days to Christmas - and sure hard to find a few moments to sit at the
email...

What is everyone doing?

For one thing, the seed catalogues are having no trouble at all finding my
doorstep, so really enjoying the fire each night and going through. I have
Stokes, Dominion, among others. Try to rip out the page of what I love,
and see how many I have by January...decided I would zero in on certain
plants which over the next couple of years I will really get acquainted
with. They'll be sweet peas, sunflowers, daylillies, lillies, iris, David
Austin roses and antique roses, zinnias.

For the first time, I will attempt to faithfully keep a gardeners journal
in 1999. With most of our gardens in dormant state, it is a great time to
start my diary with memories of last year for each bed - what I liked and
didn't like afterall. Also, time to start planning seed orders and where
I'd put them if indeed they grew! Must start a section on 'projects' for
1999 - that would include a shelf unit with fluorescent lighting to start
my seeds (nothing fancy). And the big projects include a greenhouse and a
shed for tools, storing garden furniture in the winter (and get it out of
my garage!). And a section of fence will be constructed.

So glad I complete all Christmas shopping in November so that I can enjoy
December with family and friends. Parties and more parties! Hard to
believe how quickly December flies by...
