Although I have no personal experience I've never saw that as a reason to
remain quiet....
I suspect that seed grown plants would take a little longer to reach
fruiting age. I've heard it said (note: hearsay) that commercial South
American coffee plantations prefer to plant new fields with cuttings, and
that they consider the 4th year of producation after planting a field to
produce the highest quality coffee beans.
