RE: How to propagate an Olive?

Olives are usually grown from hardwood or semihardwood cuttings.
Rooting is improved if a rooting hormone and mist is used.

You can also graft scions on small Olive trees grown from seed. The
seed often takes a year or more to sprout and germination is sparatic.

Chips may also be cut from large trees, planted bark side up and if kept
warm and moist will grow.

Subject: How to propagate an Olive?

I was wondering how do I propagate an Olive from cuttings? Do I use
one
year old wood, younger, or older wood? When should I do it? Any special
attention? Any help will be appreciated since I have never done this
before.
