Can someone please tell me the best way to deal with Nelumbo after they
germinate? Germination is the easy part; I need to know what medium to
plant in, how deep, how soon after germination, etc.,etc..
I have an aquarium set up in my greenhouse. Should it be filtered?
Cleaned? Ignored totally?
Thank you,
Keith Romanczyk
P.S.
Before someone throws this off-topic by asking where to get lotus seeds:
Go to a floral supply store that has a lot of dried material and purchase
lotus pods. Pry out seeds. Saw or drill into the hard shell and toss into
water. After the seed shell has softened, peel off. They sprout in a
matter of days. Almost too fast.
