Dear Duncan McAlpine:

For some time now it has seemed to me that I do not have the experience and
knowledge I would need to be a contributing member of the group. When I
recieved this copy above along with the info that you had removed Jim Klett
from the group because he disagreed with you, I was somewhat dismayed. It
appears to me that you are operating on a "its my backyard and we will play
the game the way I want to" level from the note above. I do not wish to be
rude, but I thought you would want to know that its hard not to get that
impression that after reading the above and the somewhat imperious e-mail
message I recieved when I indicated that I was also interested in a seed
exchange. I guess I was mistaken in thinking that seeds would be on topic
for a propogation group, as I said my inexperience has caused me to make
"social errors" here in *your* newsgroup. I guess I feel that this action
could happen to me, too. This makes me feel very uncomfortable interacting
in the newsgroup.
I believe it would be appropriate, at this time, to thank you and the other
group members for all your advice and assistance and please request you
unsubscribe me from seeds-list. Thanks for your past help. I hope you will
all accept my apologies for the times that I have been off topic or
innapropriate. Best wishes to all of you and happy gardening!
Respectfully yours,
Laura Archbald
