I was speaking to a friend of mine who has just given me a couple of
seedlings, grown from T&M seed. Be experimental types, he had tried
different methods of germination and had achieved 86% overall. He buried
all seed below surface, in four different pots. One was put in the fridge
(per T&M), one in a frame in the garden, one in his study, one in his
bedroom (cooler than the study). All four were successful within four weeks
of sowing.
One issue that I seem to have heard of in the past, however, is that fresh
seed is best for germination. I wonder, per Norm Deno, whether dry storage
affects germination requirements.
