The instructions I got said germinate cool (not by stratifying).
Of five seeds I got about 3 germinating over the course of a summer; all
pegged out before doing anything interesting :-(. The pics looked so
pretty, too.
I understand they can be tricky to persuade to flower a second time,
too, if you get that far. One of those plants that just don't seem to
have much will to live.
