Now that I have finished my alpine/greenhouse (no heat is provided) I have
read, growers mist their seed pots on a "as needed basis" or "per a schedule".
I have covered certain seed pots with grit or pumice or perlite,
and I feel, it will be very difficult to see the medium for dryness.
I have no plans on lifting ever seed pot to feel the weight to determine
if I need to water.
Do I really need to mist the soil on a schedule basis and what is the
recommended tool? I have seen seedling misters in the catalogs....is
this what I need? So far I have a variety of seeds popping up, but
the others might take awhile. Maybe a year.... I do understand I need
to water my pots, but how often and when is enough? Do I do this throughout
the year if I see no signs of germination?
