Chris,
I grew Lychnis coronaria last year from seed obtained from Pinetree.
Planted about 40 seeds on 8/8 in soilless mix of half peat and half
vermiculite. Got about 24 plants that were ready to set out on 10/4. They
took about 3 weeks to germinate in a covered flat in a bright area inside.
Nothing special done with them. Watered from bottom. Transplanted to 8 oz
styro cups for growing on. They look good, but we are having a mild winter
here.
