I am using aquarium gravel as top dressing to germinate Meconopsis spp.
based on advice in a magazine article (BC gardening I think). The aquarium
gravel that was available in our local pet stores seems a little too coarse
for the application - but who knows? Anyway my Meconopsis seed seems to be
germinating around the 'rocks' and I guess only time will tell.
