Re: Propagating Texas Madrone

Ralph, you did not say how you were growing the Madrones on, so this may not
be of any help. The Pacific Madrone (Arbutus menziesii) does not like it's
roots disturbed and will not grow in a container, even a large one for more
than a few years. They must be put in a permanent location as soon as possible
to increase the chance of success.
