Has anybody here had any success propagating H. rosa-sinensis by way of
cuttings? I have tried time and time again with a consistent lack of
success.
Are there any tricks or special procedures which must be followed to insure
success? In my case, the cuttings never root, and dry up and wither away. I
have tried rooting in water (no rooting aids), rooting in soils and
soil-less mixtures (with and without rooting hormones), indoors and out, in
sun and in shade, in humid and dry environments, in warmer as well as
cooler weather. Still no success.
What could I be doing wrong?
