Dear Brad:
Impatiens require bottom heat, warm moist conditions for
germination. Because the seeds require different conditons than the
newly germinated plant, sow your seeds in small containers, preferably
one seed per container and remove the container from your moist bottom
heated and bottom watered as soon as green appears. Always bottom
water your Impatiens.
We expect the highly bred Impatiens to germinate at somewhat the
same time but the species types will germinate over a much longer period
of time.
Best, Vicki
