--this is a great list, tons of action and posts, i can't think of any
contribution i may make yet though..
i am wondering if one of you can post a list of lists for other gardening
lists or farming type of lists, seeds..anything like this, i would like to
join more and also put them on our site/page for others to find, that page
is at http://www.farmpride.com/lvl257.html not much there yet, but it is
fun.
i just got a nice little John Deere 317 for the garden, a little big but it
will do the snow work next year and mowing too. this is a great time of year
for dreams. ya ..and replacing that blown 5 horse on the little
tiller/weeder.
we grow pickles too for canning..or i guess i ought to say we grow cucumbers
for canning pickles..:) and we grow and sell a little bit of seed, and
herbs. but i am way..way behind this year, that is part of the fun though.
i have a list that is pretty new, now forgive me if this is against the
rules to post this here, but ...the list is called Kickapoo Chat-n-Trade,at:
http://www.farmpride.com/lvl251.html
and If you are a seedsaver, a person who collects seed, heirloom
and others, or grow herbs, or just love "country" talk and
topics.....
we invite you to join our mail list were you may keep in touch
with others of the like mind. You may list stuff for sale
, you may trade, offer to trade, exchange
reciepies..garden tips, whatever..it is free..it is for you. but we want
to keep it "Country" so to speak..your invited to offer seed for sale, or
plants, but mostly stuff you have grown, and like the rest of you i adore
cussing and rudeness or "flaming" so that is out,but be warned the list is
real new and the action will be light to start with.
I love the internet, it is fantastic! and i love to communicate, and
explore, I also like growing mushrooms, oysters mainly, and i have a
bakery(small), we go to a farmers market in Madison Wisconsin where we sell
a little seed, but mainly bakery product, have been there 10 years now.
well i guess this is getting a bit winded, but i just wanted to shout out
and tell a bit about our world..oh ya, i got 4 kids and a big dog, and a
wife of 20 years....and the lord.
happy planting, and i do hope this is a wonderful growing year, and
people..save that seed!
albert.
