Hi all,
Does anyone have any germination tips for Parnassia glauca
and/or Sagittaria latifolia? I had very low germination of both last
time I sowed them. I soaked the Sagittaria in refrigerated water for 5
months, as indicated by another source, then sowed, covered, and kept in
saucer of water. They've been out for a month or more without
germination. Regular cold-moist strat. treatment yielded one seedling.
I surfaced sowed the Parnassia and stratified for 90 days.
Unfortunately, they underwent some mouse predation. Ergo, I'll never
know whether that was the preferred method or not. Suggestions for
either or both appreciated. Thanks, Judy
