In propagating this species from seed is it possible to use a
soilless mix in the styrofoam plug flats that float on water.
If it is not detrimental to the seedlings the constant source
of water would be nice to avoid the necessity of an irrigation system with
conventional flats. Also if the above system is okay does the suction of
the water keep the styrofoam flats from blowing away in the open. If so I could
have toughened plants from the wind which would transplant much
better.
What is the minimum cold-moist requirements for this
species.
Also what is the reccommended cold -moist requirement of
butterfly milkweed,asclepias tuberosa?
