I use a high pressure mist system on a fairly large scale with three 140' X
24' greenhouses converted for summer tree and shrub propagation. As such I
don't use artificial light and the summer sun can get quite intense.
Anyway, my point is relative humidity goes down with a rise in temperature.
In an effort to maintain moisture levels I made the mistake of keeping the
houses closed up which caused the heat to build up to 30 Celsius and above.
The mister worked non-stop and still couldn't get the humidity over 70%
relative. But once the temp dropped a few degrees the humidity climbed
easily.
Also, No-Damp (discussed recently in a different thread) is great for quick
containment of the black, slimy rot that sometimes attacks cuttings.
Wonderful stuff, and no I'm not a shareholder!
