New meating mat needed

Nan,
If you can't find the tape or tube that Dave Neil suggested, you could
use Shoe-Goo. Avaiable at hardware stores, it is meant for repairing
soles of athletic shoes. Pretty much sticks to anything (especially
fingers), and is essentially a sort of rubber cement. It dries into a
rubbery material, and is waterproof and flexible. Apply Has to be
appllied to a clean and dry surface. Definitely apply the stuff outside
the house (solvent vapors).
