RE: seed to swap, and info requested about Deno books

Carrie,
If you order directly from the author (the only way one can order here in
the U.S. I believe) his books are $20 including shipping. If you have a
U.S. friend order for you, it would be cheaper but you would still have
shipping to pay. Professor Deno's research based books put others to shame
and are well worth the money in my estimation. The 2 supplements add genera
not discussed in his initial publication and for a "keen seed-sower" would
be very necessary.

Subject:	seed to swap, and info requested about Deno books

I have spare seed to swap, if you are interested please send your list to me
at
thomas.cr@pg.com and I will send you my current list. I garden in S Wales,
UK,
zone 8/9 and have an interest in unusual and cottage garden plants including
aquilegia.

Being a keen seed-sower, I have decided I need to invest in Norman Deno's
'bible' for germination. Can anyone help, do I really need to buy the 2
supplements as well as the 'seed germination: theory and practice' book?

Here in the UK the first book is about £17 and the 2 supplements are about
£14.50 each. Knowing that many books are cheaper in the US, I wondered if
anyone knows how I could get them cheaper than these prices.

Can anyone help?

thanks, -Carrie-
